Telehealth has fast become a more accepted way of conducting health consultations especially when only eyes and ears are predominantly used to come to an accurate diagnosis.
Naturopaths can conduct in-depth assessments, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations over video links. This health profession lends itself beautifully to this type of environment and in modern times more and more people are becoming accustomed to the convenience of Telehealth.
How does Telehealth work?
Prior to a Telehealth consultation, our Naturopaths will request you complete a comprehensive health questionnaire and email all previous diagnostic results such as blood tests in preparation for the video call.
During the Telehealth consultation, our Naturopaths ask a wide range of questions, may recommend further tests, then discuss what actions need to be taken next. When a diagnosis is reached, they will explain everything then make their treatment recommendations. Prescribed herbs and supplements can then be collected from the clinic or posted.

How to prepare for a Telehealth Video Consultation?
Some of you may already be familiar with the convenience of video or “facetime” calls. For those who aren’t, here’s how it works:
- All you need for a video call is a smartphone or computer with a camera (most are already built-in)
- An Internet connection that has the capacity for video calls/conferencing
- Book a Telehealth appointment by clicking here
- Download an App called Zoom by clicking here
- Our Naturopath will invite you to a Zoom meeting via email just before your appointment time. Simply follow the prompts.
- Once the call is answered via Zoom you will be asked for consent to continue with the call
- Once accepted your Naturopathy consultation will begin
- After your consultation, reception will organise credit card payment over the phone and email your receipt. Direct deposit is also available if you do not have a credit card.
Before your Naturopathy Telehealth call, we recommend the following preparations:
- Set up your phone, ipad or computer in such a way you will be able to see your Naturopath.
- Choose a quiet room where you will not be interrupted for the next 60 minutes.
- If you are not using your phone for the zoom consultation, switch it off to minimise distractions
