What to expect on your first Chiropractic visit:

When you are seen by our Chiropractors a thorough medical history and examination is conducted to assess you. This will include orthopaedics tests, neurological tests, computerised postural assessments and specific muscle tests isolating each individual muscle, testing its strength and ability.

These tests provide accurate information regarding the function and balance of your body. Should x-rays be required, you will be referred to a local bulk billing radiological centre.

Once the examination is complete, your Chiropractor will recommend the best treatment protocol to bring about the health changes you are seeking.

The chiropractors at Brunswick Health are committed to providing evidence-based treatment protocols that are scientifically proven to be effective. We’ve been established since 1990 and are experienced in treating many conditions such as back pain, sciatica, headaches, migraines, neck pain….. just to name a few.

Our focus is not just where the pain or problem manifests, but equally importantly why this health issue came about in the first place. Analysis as to where, how, why and what, requires a thorough investigation and understanding to achieve sustainable results.

Dr Hamilton Mack Chiropractor

Dr Hamilton Mack ~ Chiropractor

Dr Hamilton Mack is an elite triathlete whose Chiropractic practice focuses on sport-related injuries. He focuses on improving peoples quality of life through proactive treatment and lifestyle education.

For Dr Hamilton, the decision to become a Chiropractor stemmed from his upbringing in a preventative, proactive health care model. He graduated from the prestigious RMIT Chiropractic program and immediately began working in private practice.

Hamilton’s health care philosophy is based on the scientific premise that the body regulates and heals itself optimally when no interference between the brain and the rest of the body is present.

Rather than focusing simply on the resolution of symptoms, Dr Hamilton’s proactive approach to health and wellness focuses on preventing the body from getting to a state where pain and dysfunction are present.

This has proven to be a sought-after approach, as Dr Hamilton has worked with elite sportspeople including a Formula One World Champion, AFL Footballers, Professional Triathletes and professional dancers.

These successful sports people understand that being proactive with health is much more effective and efficient than waiting for symptoms to arrive before seeking treatment.

Outside of practice, Dr Hamilton is a competitive Ironman Triathlete, enjoying that challenge of training for and racing in such a gruelling event.  He also plays water polo and enjoys the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle.

Dr Beau Billett ~   Chiropractor

Chiropractor Dr Beau Billett grew up in Shepparton and relocated to Brunswick to practice. As a holistic chiropractor, Dr Beau uses a variety of treatment techniques to suit a range of patients and has a great love and proficiency for manual adjusting (using hands-on techniques).

Dr Beau loves helping people with injuries or chronic pain, working with them to rehabilitate trouble areas so that they can get back to being their best as soon as possible.

Dr Beau believes chiropractic is about getting your body working as well as it can through a properly functioning nervous system. As a result of a properly functioning body and healthy lifestyle, we are more able to cope with day to day stress, such as work, better enjoy the things we want to be doing, and just generally feel good.

It is through overcoming chronic knee issues that Dr Beau first developed a strong passion for helping people with chiropractic. This experience has helped Dr Beau have a better understanding of what patients go through when their body is not 100%. Dr Beau’s style of chiropractic aims to get to the root cause of the problem and work to restore function and reduce discomfort. Issues such as poor posture, incorrect footwear or other impacting lifestyle factors can contribute to pain and discomfort. Dr Beau takes a holistic approach, working on treating the cause, rather than just the symptoms. This is to avoid a repeat of the same old injury and to be more aware of the stresses that may be impacting the body.

Apart from chiropractic, Dr Beau is an avid musician. A bass and acoustic guitarist, it is well known by many that he can spend hours playing music, with regular stretch breaks of course! He has played many gigs over the years yet the passion for learning that next piece is still strong. When he’s not in practice or playing his guitar, Dr Beau loves being out and about in the outdoors. He thoroughly enjoys hiking, camping under the stars, running and fishing.
