Terms and conditions
The terms you agree to by booking with, or purchasing from, Brunswick Health.

Practitioners at Brunswick Health are independent contractors with their own ABNs and their own professional indemnity insurance. Clinical responsibility rests with them, not with Brunswick Health.
What Brunswick Health is
Brunswick Health operates as a service entity, providing facilities and administrative support to independent health practitioners. We do not employ or partner with the practitioners who use our facilities — the relationship is closer to landlord and tenant.
Every practitioner here is an independent contractor operating under their own business name and ABN, with full autonomy over their clinical practice and operations. Each holds their own professional indemnity insurance and carries their own medico-legal accountability.
Brunswick Health does not influence or control the clinical services practitioners provide, and is not responsible for treatment outcomes. We provide the space and the administrative tools.
Appointments and cancellations
Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person through Brunswick Health's administrative team, acting on behalf of your chosen practitioner.
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and non-attendance may incur a fee, set by the individual practitioner.
Fees and payment
Fees are set per service rather than per practitioner. Everyone practising in a discipline here works to the same published schedule, so a standard consultation costs the same whichever chiropractor, physiotherapist or podiatrist you see. Current fees are published on our fees page.
Anything outside the schedule — a longer appointment, a procedure, orthotics or a product — is quoted before it goes ahead. Late-cancellation and non-attendance fees are set by the individual practitioner.
Payment is made at the time of service through Brunswick Health's administrative team, unless you have arranged otherwise with your practitioner. We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and electronic transfer.
Insurance and Medicare claims
Our administrative team can process claims with most health funds on the spot, and can submit Medicare claims where you hold a valid GP Chronic Condition Management Plan.
You are responsible for understanding your own level of cover. Any discrepancy in what you are rebated is a matter between you, your fund or Medicare, and your practitioner.
Refunds and chargebacks
Our refund policy forms part of these terms.
By purchasing products through Brunswick Health you agree not to initiate a chargeback once goods have been delivered, except where the law requires otherwise. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded by agreement.
Your medical information
It is your responsibility to give your practitioner accurate and complete information about your health. Incomplete or inaccurate information can materially affect the care you receive and, in some cases, its safety.
Tell your practitioner about any change in your condition, medications or treatment, including anything prescribed elsewhere.
Privacy
Your privacy is protected by law. See our privacy policy for how personal information is collected, used and protected, and for how to access, correct or complain about it.
Liability
Brunswick Health provides facilities and administrative support and is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from services provided by the independent practitioners who use those facilities.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
