Our physio, Annabel Law, completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra graduating with high distinctions.
Her Master’s degree is a postgraduate qualification following on from her Physiotherapy Bachelor Degree. Holding a Masters degree in Physiotherapy is a prerequisite for working with elite-level athletes or holding a senior position in hospitals. It is highly regarded in her profession as not all Physiotherapist are accepted or able to complete the Master’s program, and to achieve a distinction is an accomplishment in itself.
Annabel grew up within a family of medical doctors and from a very early age knew she wanted to dedicate her career helping the wider community improve their health and well-being making a real difference.
Annabel is a high achiever with a strong work ethic. She prides herself in delivering exceptional results in a warm caring environment. Her patients often comment on her personable approach and excellent bedside manner.
Over the years Annabel has treated thousands of patients and has enjoyed working closely with each individual, achieving optimal results. She has vast experiences in a wide range of clinical environments working in regional, rural, public hospitals and private practices. It was through these clinical experiences, she developed a special and strong interest in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and women’s health.
Annabel enjoys working with diverse and complex cases but most commonly treats neck, shoulder, upper back and low back issues. She initially focuses her attention on providing relief from acute symptoms then shifts gears to addresses the core problem which she strongly believes is essential to reverse and prevent the condition from reoccurring.
Utilising primarily a hands-on approach, she incorporates her manual-based treatments with progressive rehabilitative exercise programs designed specifically for each individual depending on the stage of recovery.
She has a well rounded holistic approach combined with the latest evidence-based practices to harvest the best results. Over the years she has worked closely with General Practitioners and other Health Professionals establishing a good reputation ensuring a constant stream of referrals.
She regularly attends physiotherapy conferences keeping up to date with the latest research ensuring she is delivering the best possible care.
